How to learn /remember technique

Ever seen great technique taught but when you try to do it cannot remember a thing ??? This normally happens because you watch the whole thing and go wow that was good.

You need to know what stance the teacher was in and how they moved their feet or you will be in the wrong place to deliver the technique and it will all fall apart. If you do as suggested you will be in the right place at the right time even if you do not remember say the lock used it will be simple to pick this up.

To sum up the foot work is every thing you will NOT be a master over night but you will find more things working for you if you do this
